Custom Made Perspex Products
Signage
At Elegant Plastics Displays we also offer our customers professional custom made Signage services. Perspex Signs may be built up by either routing or laser cutting design logos and letters from several colours, and inlaying these into sign fascias or panels of opal or coloured Perspex. Our in-house team design and manufacture excellent internally illuminated signs which can be made by applying surface decoration to Perspex by either screen-printing or spray painting.
Vinyl Cutting
At Elegant Plastics Displays we have a dedicated vinyl cutting machine. Our Design Team utilise the vinyl cutter to add value to our diverse range of custom made Perspex Products. By utilizing an in-house vinyl cutter our clients can rest assured that the high quality standards set by EPD are maintained as the process of vinyl cut application to your products can be managed internally, alleviating the quality risk of outsourcing.
Our vinyl cutting machine is used for Signage, Vehicle Branding and In-store Display Products. The advantages of using vinyl cut lettering or elements on signage and branding is that pigmented vinyl has a much longer colour lifespan than printed lettering. At Elegant Plastics Displays our design team can advise you when the vinyl cutting option is preferred over the printing option.
Laser cutting and Engraving
Our In-house Laser Cutting Machinery cuts a variety of substrates. Our machinery offers a quick and highly accurate method for cutting and engraving a wide range of Acrylics.
It has been said that acrylic is the most widely used material within the laser cutting and engraving industry. At EDP we use a diverse range of high quality Perspex, Plexiglas and Cast Acrylic materials. There are hundreds of acrylics available in clear, colour, frost, fluorescent and translucent.
Bench Routing
At Elegant Plastics Displays, Bench Routing is another addition to our portfolio of in-house services.
The advantage of the bench router is that it cuts various shapes with precision, leaving the final products with clean, smooth finishes. The Bench Router can cut up to 45 degree angles. The machine offers a variety of detailed edge designs and guarantees a professional high quality finish.
Materials which can be used for bench routing are wood, Perspex, ABS, Forex, Corex and Foam board. The bench router can cut materials ranging from a thickness of 0.5mm – 40mm thickness.
